Poltu Quatu Classic from July 2nd to July 4th, 2021
Poltu Quatu Classic returns to the scene of major international events with the sixth edition of the most glamorous Concours d’Elegance of the summer organized by Auto Classic and Between Comunicazione in collaboration with the Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu and Bcool City Magazine.
On July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, authentic four-wheeled jewels from the most important Italian and European collections of vintage cars will parade through the streets of the Costa Smeralda.
Among the novelties included in this year’s program there will be an adrenaline-pumping acceleration race on the runway of Vena Fiorita Airport in Olbia and a spectacular exhibition of unique Spiaggine in Porto Cervo.
The organizers then studied a fascinating new panoramic route of the Costa Smeralda to give participants unforgettable scenarios to admire behind the wheel of their cars.
We will return to the legendary Vesper beach of Capriccioli made famous by the film “007 – The spy who loved me” where the protagonist Roger Moore emerges with his car from the crystal-clear water of the Costa Smeralda in the company of Barbara Bach and waiting for the protagonists of Poltu Quatu Classic 2021 there will be a novelty that will make this moment of the Concorso even more exciting.
On the way back to Poltu Quatu there will be the passage and exhibition of the cars in Porto Cervo for an aperitif at sunset, this time between wonderful beach cars.
The participants will therefore live another beautiful experience between visits to historic villages of Sardinia and days at the beach, driving their vintage cars along the breathtaking scenery of the Costa Smeralda and the bravest will also be able to experience the high speed at sea thanks to the return of the “Off Shore Experience” with the 5-time world champion of motorboating Aaron Ciantar, who will bring to Sardinia a truly special Off Shore directly from Malta.
Now a must of the event will be the nightly performance of the final parade of cars in front of the Jury that will take place on Saturday 3 July after the Gala Dinner at the Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu in the famous Piazzetta illuminated by day for the occasion. As in the last edition the event will end on Sunday afternoon at the exclusive Li Neuli Country Club.

Finally, the inevitable Class “La Dolce Vita” dedicated to the cars protagonist of the fabulous 50s and 60s, again this year takes on a special meaning for everyone’s desire to take back the beautiful things of life after a period to forget, and precisely for this reason the motto of the Concorso d’Eleganza Poltu Quatu Classic will still be “Make La Vita Dolce Again!“
“Poltu Quatu is ready to make its guests live a fabulous weekend also this year” assures Daniele Pulcini CEO of the Group owner of the Grand Hotel that has hosted the Concorso since 2014.
